I am very excited to be able to offer a Balance First one-day workshop at Moat Equine, near Newent in Gloucestershire!
Your trainer for this workshop will be founder of Balance First, Wendy Poore. For more information, please check out the website at https://balancefirst.training.
The day will start with a 1-hour theory session. After lunch, there will be another 30-minute theory/Q&A.
There will be a maximum of 6 horse/trainer combinations and a limited number of auditors.
- As a rider, you will be receiving 2 x 30-minute private, face-to-face lessons with your own horse. We'll put the theory into practice, and we'll address the issues that you bring.
- As an auditor, you will have the valuable opportunity to learn from the theory and the lessons, train your eye and get new insights to use with your own horse. If you are new to this sort of training, you will have enough information to be able to go and start with your own horse at home. There is also the opportunity for online coaching with Wendy if you need support.
You can bring your questions and discuss any issues you are having in a safe environment with like-minded people.
You'll have the opportunity to connect, catch up and network with other Balance First students. You’ll go home with a lot of inspiration and more insight into how to supple and straighten your horse.
After the workshop, you'll have the information and confidence you need to continue independently at home.
It is highly recommended that all attendees watch the other lessons and the theory. There are so many insights to be gained from watching other,s it is almost as valuable as having a lesson with your own horse.
A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Unfortunately, stables will not be available for visiting horses at this venue, but there is plenty of room to park your trailer.
